1.-3. Macon Magazine celebrated the second concert of
Macon-Mercer Symphony Orchestra with a pre-show
champagne toast at McEachern Arts Center on Nov. 22.
4. Wesleyan alumna Cheri Dennis '68 (fourth from the left)
returned to campus for a signing of 'Dear Mr. Ellamae,'
a book she wrote about her grandmother, Macon's own
pioneer in architecture and Wesleyan alumna Ellamae
Ellis League. Several members of Cheri's family joined
her for the event. 5. Ladies of the Leadership Georgia
Class of 2020-2021 gathered in Macon to celebrate the
upcoming arrival of Baby Cromley to Jamie, David and big
sister Libby. 6. The Charles Jay Fellow award is presented
to Leadership Macon class members who demonstrate
outstanding leadership. Winners are Bernard Young
and Erin Hawkins. 7. Macon-Bibb officials stand with
Congressman Sanford Bishop and Sen. Jon Ossoff on the
banks of the Ocmulgee River as they announce what our
community can expect from the bipartisan infrastructure
bill passed earlier this year. 8. Julie Wilkerson, executive
director of Macon Arts Alliance, and Rudy Mendes, artist
and part-time education person at Bike Walk Macon, at
the Bike Walk Macon Holiday Party.
