Macon Arts Alliance Cultural Awards
The annual Macon Arts Alliance Cultural Awards held Oct. 14
recognized individuals, organizations and businesses who have
made significant contributions to the cultural life of Central
Georgia through their work or philanthropic efforts. Honorees
were Stephen Daugherty, Kathyrn Dennis and Myrtle Habersham.
The Rosalyn Elkan Lifetime Achievement Award was presented
to Wini McQueen. 1. Stephen Daugherty accepts his award as

4. Dean Baldwin Painting celebrated the grand opening of its
newest facility with a ribbon cutting Nov. 10. The 165,000 square
foot facility is Dean Baldwin Painting's first Georgia facility and
is home to four new hangars at the Middle Georgia Regional
Airport. 5. Seaman Jarvarius Davis, a native of Warner Robins,
handles line on the flight deck of aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson
during a vertical replenishment-at-sea on Nov. 9. 6. Dr. Paul Jones,
president of Fort Valley State University, and Delvecchio Finley,
president & CEO of Atrium Health Navicent, enjoyed a partnership
visit and tour at the historic Fort Valley State University campus.
7. Virginia Sharp, owner of Daemarii's Unique Boutique on
Ingleside Avenue, celebrated the opening of her second location
in Cochran alongside friends from 'The Wizard of Oz.'
