Opening night artists include the award-winning pianist Orion Weiss, multi-GRAMMY winning violist Lawrence Dutton, recent gold medalist of the Tchaikovsky International Competition cellist Zlatomir Fung, Fabian Series curator and violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, and the young artists of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings. Oktoberfest Amy Schwartz Moretti, violin Efe Baltacigil, cello Christina Smith, flute Laura Ardan, clarinet Andrew Brady, bassoon Elisabeth Remy Johnson, harp Tuesday, Oct. 26 We continue the season with a concert highlighting several of the talented principal players of the Atlanta Symphony Fabian Concert Series Celebrating 15 Years Orchestra in the intimacy of the chamber music setting. Joining flutist Christina Smith, clarinetist Laura Ardan, bassoonist Andrew Brady, and harpist Elizabeth Remy Johnson is the Seattle Symphony Orchestra's incredible principal cellist Efe Baltacigil and McDuffie Center director and curator of the Fabian Series, violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, as well as the young artists from the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings. December Delights James Ehnes, violin Amy Schwartz Moretti, violin Dimitri Murrath, viola Jeffrey Turner, bass Kyung-A Yoo, piano Tuesday, Dec. 7 This concert will be a delightful evening of magical music! Highlighted by Dvorak's masterful Bass Quintet, other selections will include the fun Suite for Two Violins and Piano by Moritz Moszkowski, and American composer Adolphus Hailstork's Two Romances for Viola and Piano. The artists for this program include multi-GRAMMY award winner violinist James Ehnes, brilliant violist Dimitri Murrath, newest piano collaborative faculty member Kyung-A Yoo, the Center's own bassist Jeffrey Turner and violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti. February Fireworks Cho-Liang Lin, violin Amy Schwartz Moretti, violin Rebecca Albers, viola Edward Arron, cello Tuesday, Feb. 1 The 2021-2022 Fabian Series kicks off the new year with February Fireworks!
