Remaining positive in a pandemic We are always inspired by how Macon Magazine readers and community members continue to celebrate the good life and great stories here in Middle Georgia. Even in uncertain times, celebrations were held, and life continues to go on, sometimes in a slightly shifted way. 1. Christopher Graddick conducted a "Flower Flash" at the I Love Macon Sculpture in Daisy Park on Oct. 31. He collected food donations for The Mentors Project, serving Bibb County students during the pandemic. 2. Jim Crisp celebrated 70 years alongside friends for a special dinner hosted on Annette Anderson's patio. 3. David Lee Sr. celebrates being released from Navicent Health in July after having COVID-19. 4. Alan Thiese used his COVID-19 quarantine time to make a scrapbook of his life. 5. 7th Street Salvage makes deliveries of their locally produced, hand-poured candles. 1 2 3 4 5 16 maconmagazine.com | DECEMBER/JANUARY 2021 Faces
