Peaceful protest
About 800 people peacefully
marched through downtown
Macon on June 2 in protest
of the killing of black men
and women at the hands of
police. The marchers began at
the Tubman African American
Museum before making
their way to the Macon-Bibb
Government Center and on to
the county courthouse. Macon-
Bibb County Sheriff's deputies
escorted the marchers and
protected them along their
route. Photos by Matt Odom.
