Club of Macon's Youth of the Year $500 scholarship
award. Stephanie, the valedictorian from Mount de
Sales Academy, will be attending the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall. 3. Vineville

on elementary students during a socially distanced
parade that the teachers and staff orchestrated this
April. 4. High school student Vennela Gosukonda from
Warner Robins was awarded the Earth Day Scholarship
by the National Society of High School Scholars. Last
summer at the Decacorn Entrepreneur Bootcamp at the
University of Hong Kong, she helped design "vfast," an
environmentally conscious startup to make secondhand
and upcycled clothing mainstream. 5. Central High School
senior Skye Solomon celebrates receiving her cap and
gown. 6. Eunice Andrews, programming and AP computer
science teacher at Mount de Sales Academy, is a talented
seamstress who is using her skills and creativity for sewing
projects in between teaching classes. Inspired by a DIY
blogger, she sewed headbands for healthcare workers
and created banners individuals can use to celebrate
virtual birthdays or car parade birthdays. 7. Rutland High
School Principal Wendy Pooler greets seniors arriving to
pick up their caps and gowns.
