APRIL/MAY 2020 | maconmagazine.com 59 THE MOST GRATIFYING PART OF MY JOB: It's the people! I get to work with and for great people. Teamwork is crucial to a successful law practice and JBBG does teamwork very well. Partners, attorneys, staff and the firm's administrative team – we all work together to provide our clients with excellent service and work product. In addition to working with folks I consider friends, and some even family, I am fortunate to be able to work for some amazing clients and I am grateful for those relationships as well. – Kathryn YOU MAY BE SURPRISED THAT: JBBG recently formed an Employee Assistance Program called Compassion Bridge to assist any JBBG employee in a time of need by providing monetary assistance for unforeseen medical expenses, financial hardships and many other unforeseen emergencies. Through this and many other opportunities, JBBG actively demonstrates the importance of its employees, the community and its clients. – Kim I ADMIRE WOMEN WHO: Persevere through adversity and make their own path. There are many opportunities I have now because another woman had enough courage to do it first and leave a legacy for me to follow. – Marlina MY HOBBIES OU TSIDE OF WORK: I love swimming with my daughter and coaching mock trial. I also enjoy scooping and serving ice cream at our family-owned, old fashioned soda shop. – Lauren KATHRYN WILLIS, Attorney KIM STROUP, Attorney MARLINA ROGERS, Attorney LAUREN SCHULTZ, Attorney FROM LEFT: KATHRYN WILLIS, KIM STROUP, MARLINA ROGERS AND LAUREN SCHULTZ.
