This may account for the fact that people will invest more to live in, be surrounded by and experience the awe of beautiful landscapes. According to studies conducted on the economics and public value of urban forests, appraised property values of homes that are adjacent to parks and open spaces are typically 8 percent to 20 percent higher than those of comparable properties located elsewhere. Considering all the facts, having more trees in our community wouldn't be a bad idea.
