WHAT IS THE MISSION OF
RIVER EDGE?
To make life better for individuals and
our community by leading the creation
and implementation of innovative be-
havioral health care and developmental
disability supports.
HOW DO YOU IMPROVE LIVES?
River Edge works to eliminate stigma
regarding mental health and substance
use challenges. Good news from research!
These biologically-based brain condi-
tions respond well to evidence-based
treatments and supports. Recovery and
wellness is possible for anyone. River
Edge sees individuals with developmental
challenges not as individuals with disabil-
ities but with different abilities.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED
ABOUT IN THE COMING YEAR?
Because of our community's generosi-
ty, the new state-of-the-art River Edge
Recovery Center will open in November
2020 to provide a better doorway to re-
covery for our neighbors and friends. We
also are working to develop some exciting
new wellness tools for the community!
HOW DO YOU DEFINE LIVING
WELL?
Living an authentic, honest, honorable
and self-responsible life of positive pur-
pose, contribution and joy.
Live Well
2020
