A Fresh Look for Spring What is it about "makeovers" that seems endlessly fascinating? Some people seem to know exactly what to wear, how to style themselves and they always look fabulous. But for many of us, a little assistance from savvy professionals is helpful to unleash the inner beauty and really shine. Amy Thomas, an advertising executive with Third Wave Digital, has plenty of personal style. However, she agreed to allow our selected professionals to dust off the winter blues and fire up her inner glow. And glow she does. Amy started her makeover at Utopia Salon with a fresh spring manicure and pedicure. The next stop was Signature Dentistry where Dr. Amber Lawson began a series of professional teeth-whitening treatments. Mitch Kersey, at his downtown Amanda Jane Salon, freshened her look with a sassy new haircut and highlights. The last stop was Fab'ric boutique where Holly Hammonds outfitted and accessorized Amy from head-to-toe with several different looks and plenty of ideas for spring style. Amy narrowed the outfits down to three when we enlisted the help of our Macon Magazine Facebook fans to select the one she would take home. "Like" us on Facebook to see the three outfits and all the comments! It was a lot of fun for us, and we think Amy looks terrific. M 58 l Macon Magazine Holly Hammonds and Amy selected several outfits to try. After Amy narrowed down to her three favorites, Holly accessorized her from head-to-toe to complete her look. After her initial whitening treatment at Signature Dentistry, Amy received instruction for follow-up. april/MAy 2013
