OrthoGeorgia is proud to have Twelve Board Certified General
Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine Surgeons – Five specifically Fellowship
Trained in Sports Medicine – who are committed to the prevention,
care, and rehabilitation of all athletic injuries whether they happen on an
organized sports field, at the work place, or in your own backyard.
OUR FOCUS is to return the athlete back to
play with the full range of motion, strength,
endurance, and function as they had prior to the
injury. The OrthoGeorgia physicians, trainers,
and therapists collaborate together to design
a customized rehabilitation program for the
specific needs of the athlete.
Along with sports event coverage for area
colleges, high schools and sport organizations,
OrthoGeorgia provides complimentary
preseason health screenings for the student
athletes. These screenings are required by the
Georgia High School Association for both
public and private schools.
OrthoGeorgia provides an Athletic Injury
Clinic from 9am to 1pm every Saturday (during
football season) at no cost; the service includes
an X-ray and evaluation by a sports fellowship
trained physician.
