KOREAN FESTIVAL Immerse yourself in Korean culture by attending the Korean Festival in Atlanta. The largest Korean festival in the Southeast draws more than 30,000 people every year. The festival, happening Oct. 19-20 on the grounds of the Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta in Norcross, includes more than 80 vendors, food trucks, traditional Korean musicians and local musicians. This annual event has expanded to provide guests with a range of exposure to Korean sport demonstrations including Ssireum, a traditional wrestling form recognized as the national sport of Korea, as well as taekwondo, the popular Korean martial art form.
