We work with our preservation project manager, Shannon Fickling, who is a licensed architect. She puts together plans for the house. We work with our preservation carpenter, Michael Phillips, who is a licensed general contractor. We do demolition to get a better sense of the inside. Meanwhile, we get construction estimates, which our board reviews and approves. Then we start working on the house; it usually takes us about seven to eight months. We put it up for sale, and move to the next project!
