WHAT IS MOXIE MOMS?
Moxie Moms is a group of women from
different backgrounds who gather to
learn from and lean on each other. We
are an inclusive group that is hosted
by Highland Hills Baptist Church,
who provides a space to meet and
support through childcare and hosting.
Moxie Moms seeks to help women
find intersections, those places of
connection, with other parents who
might be journeying through parenting
on completely different roads.
HOW DO YOU HELP PEOPLE LIVE
WELL?
This group of mothers is interested in a
system of support that recognizes how
strong we are together. When we gather
once a month, we laugh, learn and
support one another.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
The word "moxie" signals what is true
about most of the mothers we know: We
are brave, undaunted and fierce when it
comes to loving our families well. That
doesn't mean everything is perfect, but
it means we know how to get things
done. We are proud that our group has
moms who work full time, stay at home,
work from home and keep several
side hustles. Moms who are Christian,
Jewish, Muslim and non-religious, and
moms who are single, married, gay,
divorced are all a part of Moxie Moms.
